I’ve always worked in the health care field and blogging is new to me. In order to stay on top of the game, it seems businesses have to keep up with the latest and greatest trends in technology, hence I begin my life as a blogger.
As a medical advisor to Wellness Professionals, my role is to provide valuable educational information to the consumer and professionals dealing with various musculoskeletal conditions. I hope to draw from my 10+ years as a physical therapist/writer as well as my own personal experience with various injuries (plantar fasciitis, scoliosis, Achilles tendonitis, chondromalacia patella, costochondritis, and lumbo-sacral instability just to name a few), in order to provide insight and helpful solutions for people with joint pain.
As a yoga practitioner and teacher, I firmly believe in a holistic approach to health and well being and acknowledge that each individual is unique in their experience of pain, injury, and recovery. I hope to objectively address many of the facets of care choices, ranging from which professional to seek treatment from, to which supplements may be of benefit, to which products may provide relief. The blog will also explore various joint conditions, patient advocacy, alternative treatments, nutrition, exercise trends, and additional online/print/video resources that may be relevant and helpful.
I look forward to (along with many guest contributors) providing a resource for you to find answers and solutions that allow you to lead a healthy, happy, painfree life. I welcome questions and comments, and ask in advance for forgiveness if my blogging etiquette is not up to par.
